Security Risk Assessment

Security Assessments: Reduce Your Risk

Parrish Security Group has the necessary knowledge and expertise to provide cost-effective security solutions whether it’s manpower, technology, or a combination. We start with a detailed analysis of your site or sites to identify your unique security needs. We then prioritize risks and develop customized solutions.

We use a structured, formal analysis process to develop a deep understanding of your unique business, operating conditions, corporate culture, and security risks and threats.

And we include you—client involvement is crucial to success. We work with you to facilitate the assessment to keep the project on track and to make sure we examine all important elements.

A Parrish risk assessment includes:

  • A shift in focus to service enhancement.

  • Recommendations that more effectively reduce risk and liability.

  • Increased client satisfaction.

  • Full transparency for all aspects of the security operation.

  • Demonstrations of our core values of integrity and quality.

The Security Assessment Process

Your security assessment is custom-tailored for your needs but usually includes the following:

  • Risk identification and analysis

  • Threat and vulnerability assessment

  • Review of your site and current security

  • An analysis of crime data including loss history, police calls for service, crime statistics and crime forecast reports

  • A review of your facility’s degree of compliance with recognized crime prevention principles

  • A review of compliance with security requirements that are specific to your industry (these may include Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism, Federal Information Security Management Act, Payment Card Industry, Joint Commission and security requirements imposed by any regulatory agencies particular to your business)

  • Review of your site and current security

  • Review of physical security systems, such as fencing, locks and guards

  • Review of electronic security systems

  • Review of your current security management and personnel

  • Evaluation of present security program and identification of any weaknesses and vulnerabilities

  • Development of recommendations for security improvements

  • Identification of short-term and long-term costs

  • Prioritization of recommendations and development of implementation plan

  • Preparation of written security assessment report

Your Security Assessment Report

While we are preparing the report, we sometimes uncover things that require further investigation so we return to the site to conduct additional interviews or examine certain things more closely. We also may need additional documents or other information available within your organization.

We then prepare a draft of the report and send it to you for review. Once you’ve had a chance to digest the document, we’ll meet with you to review the report in detail and address any questions or concerns.

Your final security assessment report will include your comments, and we’re happy to present the report to company leadership at your request.

We then assist you with implementation of the recommendations contained within our report. This can include identifying vendors and sources of products and services, reviewing bid proposals, developing security policies and procedures, and providing training.
